Made by Chicago Guys, For Chicago Guys.

Jamie Moyer is 49 years old. How in the hell is he pitching in MLB?

(ESPN) – “Jamie Moyer has agreed to terms on a minor league contract with an invite to the Colorado Rockies’ spring training, pending a physical.  The 49-year-old lefty didn’t play last season after undergoing Tommy John surgery on his throwing elbow.  Moyer has played 24 major league seasons, starting with the Chicago Cubs in 1986. He went 9-9 with a 4.84 ERA for Philadelphia in 2010.”

Look at this old guy! Still pitching after all these years.  He has Tommy John surgery in his late 40’s and he’ still going to comeback?  Nuts.  It will be awkward for 20 year old baseball players to be playing with a man who could be their father.  How in the hell has this guy’s arm not fell off while for Mark Prior you could write his name on the DL before he even took one damn step on the field? Crazy.
